It is very likely that you already have several of these ingredients in your fridge and pantry, so it will be very easy for you to prepare the recipe. And although it is prepared with fillet chicken breasts, you can also use pieces of breast or thigh. Everything will depend on you.

It should be noted that we have reduced the portions, to get a meal for two people, but you can add more ingredients proportionally, depending on the number of diners you have.

Ingredients

  • Salt to taste).
  • Carrot (10 g).
  • Parsley.
  • Potato (30 g).
  • Onion (40 g).
  • Vegetable oil.
  • Chicken broth (250 mL).
  • White wine (100 mL).
  • Chicken breast (400 g).
  • Peppers, one red and one green, (30 g).

Preparation

  1. Cut all the vegetables (green pepper, red pepper, carrot, and onion) into small pieces. Besides, do the same with the potatoes (previously peeled and washed).
  2. Once you have cut all the vegetables, add salt to them so that they sweat while they cook. In this way we will achieve that they release part of the water they contain and cook more easily.
  3. In a frying pan, add oil and then sauté the vegetables with a touch of salt (to taste).
  4. When everything is fried, add a glass of chicken broth and a glass of white wine. You can buy the chicken broth already made or you can make a homemade broth by following these steps:
    • Put water in a saucepan with vegetables such as potatoes, carrots, celery, turnip, leek, and chicken shells.
    • Boil the ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat for several minutes so that the water absorbs all the flavor of the chicken.
  5. Add the chicken fillets and add a touch of salt again.
  6. Cook for 20 minutes until the chicken is cooked and the broth has reduced. The vegetables should be like a sauce on the chicken.
