Easy Sliced ​​bread Lasagna Recipe

Making lasagna isn’t that simple, but making sliced ​​bread lasagna is! It is an easy and fast “express lasagna”.

What do we need to make sliced ​​bread lasagna?

Preparation of light bechamel sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 liter of whole milk
  • 80 gr of butter
  • 80 gr of flour
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • A pinch of nutmeg (optional)

Preparation

  1. First, in a saucepan over low heat, heat the butter until completely melted.
  2. Then add the flour and stir until fully integrated.
  3. Without stopping stirring, let it cook for 1 minute so that it does not taste raw.
  4. Then heat the milk just before it boils, and leave it ready.
  5. After the minute, pour in the hot milk at once. This is the trick so that no lumps come out. Continue stirring for 5 minutes, until the sauce begins to thicken.
  6. Keep in mind that the sauce continues to thicken once it cools down, so it must be removed from the heat a little earlier.
  7. Finally, when it has the desired texture, remove from the heat and add salt and pepper, and a little nutmeg.

Preparation of lasagna

  1. In a preferably rectangular mold, place a little bechamel sauce  , a layer of sliced ​​bread, the Bolognese and a layer of cooked ham (to taste).
  2. Then cover with another layer of sliced ​​bread, add béchamel, slices of mozzarella cheese, and bolognese sauce.
  3. Again, a layer of sliced ​​bread, bolognese sauce, cooked ham, mozarella cheese and covered with a last layer of sliced ​​bread.
  4. Finally, add béchamel sauce and press so that the bread is moistened.
  5. Next, place the grated cheese and bake for 10 minutes.

This is a complete meal, therefore there is no need for a side dish or side. Sliced ​​bread lasagna contains a high percentage of calories and carbohydrates, so we recommend consuming it at lunch without excesses.
