Beliefs That Macho People Have

The beliefs of macho people not only attack women for being weaker, but also those men who may be more sensitive or less aggressive

Today, we still meet macho people who can enjoy the approval of others or their rejection. However, despite the many judgments that are made, today we are going to focus on the beliefs that prevail in these types of people.

We all have certain beliefs that, if we do not question, we determine to be true. Our society has generally been macho and that is still alive in the minds of some people. What beliefs act in your thinking?

Beliefs of macho people

1. A woman is born to be a mother

Housewife

It is true that women can become pregnant. This fact makes macho people believe that the goal of every woman is to have children.

But what if you can’t have them? In this case, she is considered an incomplete woman.

Now, what does it mean to be a mother?

In addition to having children, a woman must take care of them. Therefore, it is understood that you have to stay at home. Those who have this type of thinking consider that a woman’s place is in the home.

Sexist people do not realize that the fact that you can have children does not condition you to have them. Nor does the fact of being a mother lead to becoming a housewife (something that, by the way, sexist people do not consider a job).

2. The woman incites bullying

Sexist people consider that harassment is something that women seek. If they go down the street and compliment them, if they try to sexually assault them, they will launch phrases like: “look at what skirt she was wearing”, “she asked for it, no one told her to go down that alley.”

What macho people don’t know is that nothing justifies aggression or harassment. In fact, blaming the victim only increases the power of the perpetrator.

It doesn’t matter how you dress or where you decide to walk. No one has the right to lay a hand on you.

3. The woman is seen as delicate, weak, submissive

For a long time, there has been a belief that men are stronger than women, something that macho people fully support.

Therefore, the woman is considered more emotional, delicate, weak and, therefore, submissive.

However, what happens if these characteristics are not present? Perhaps the term “macho” or “tomboy” sounds familiar to us to designate a woman who does not fall within this parameter.

However, we cannot ignore the pressure to which men are subjected by sexist people.

If a man is not strong, sure of himself and is emotional, sensitive, not aggressive at all, we may come across terms like “queer”.

4. A woman is not good for being a leader

The fact that macho people think about the aforementioned causes that they do not believe it possible that a woman can be a leader. In fact, if this happens, you may be thrown a lot of criticism.

When a woman is a leader, macho people often think about what she will have done to get there, denigrating the image of a woman who is fully competent to carry out her work.

5. The woman is there to bring pleasure

Seductive woman

It sounds harsh, but macho people consider women an object of pleasure. They are seen as consumer objects and we can observe that in the sexualization that is always made of their image, especially in advertising.

However, what happens when a woman lives her sexuality and seeks her pleasure intentionally and in the most diverse ways (friends with rights, partners without commitment, polyamory …)? Then, she is reproached, she is considered a “fresh”.

That is, a woman is for the enjoyment of others. However, as soon as it seeks its own enjoyment, there the macho people condemn it.

All these beliefs that macho people harbor are still very present. However, it is always positive to question and doubt each and every one of the beliefs we have. Only then will we realize if they harm other people, if we are really right or if we are terribly wrong. However, for all this, you have to start questioning things.
